As a Service Technician, you will maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and update operational wind turbines in Hokkaido. Working primarily in two-person field teams, you will travel to turbine sites in company service vehicles and perform inspections and repairs on turbine structures and equipment.
Your responsibilities will include ascending and descending inside and outside wind turbines, conducting scheduled maintenance, identifying technical issues, and supporting product updates. After joining, you will initially develop your expertise through equipment inspection work. As your experience grows, you will take on broader responsibilities, including repairs involving electrical installations.
This onsite role offers the opportunity to develop highly specialized mechanical and electrical skills while working with advanced renewable energy equipment. The position does not involve building modifications.
Knowledge of or practical experience with electrical work.
An educational background in electrical or mechanical engineering, or graduation from high school, vocational school, junior college, technical college, university, or graduate school.
A valid Class 1 driver’s license for standard passenger vehicles.
Willingness to work at height and ascend and descend wind turbine structures both inside and outside.
Ability to travel to field locations and work effectively in two-person teams.
A strong commitment to safety, equipment reliability, and quality workmanship.
Motivation to develop specialized expertise in wind turbine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
A Class 1 or Class 2 electrician license is preferred.
