A leading consumer brand company with operations across Asia is seeking to strengthen its trade marketing and consumer activation capabilities in Japan. The organization is focused on building strong brand experiences, delivering commercially effective programs, and ensuring that all market activities align with brand standards and local compliance requirements.
Its culture emphasizes accountability, collaboration, speed, and practical problem-solving. The company values people who can work independently, partner across functions and markets, and turn business needs into well-executed activation plans that support growth while protecting the brand.
The Trade Marketing Manager will lead trade marketing and consumer activation initiatives across Asia, with a strong focus on Japan. This role owns the end-to-end process for promotions, trade programs, sampling, and import management for premium and apparel items, ensuring work is delivered on time and in line with company and brand guidelines.
You will review and analyze country-level trade and promotional activities, identify potential risks in local initiatives, and coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to resolve issues. The role also requires building and managing detailed project schedules, driving milestone execution, and improving workflows with the Asia marketing operations team and HQ. In practice, this is a hands-on, highly autonomous role supporting major in-store campaigns, POSM and premium preparation for key channels, and around 50 annual activations.
