Forward Deployed AI Engineer / AI Native Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Forward Deployed AI Engineer / AI Native Engineer to join a fast-growing enterprise AI and AI Agent company.

This is a highly hands-on, client-facing AI engineering role for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of software engineering, AI, and real-world business problems.

You will work directly with customers to understand ambiguous business challenges, translate them into technical solutions, and build and deploy production-grade AI applications and autonomous agent workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with enterprise clients to understand business challenges, workflows, and technical requirements.

• Translate ambiguous business problems into practical AI / LLM / Agent-based solutions.

• Rapidly prototype, iterate, and deploy AI solutions in real-world production environments.

• Design and build AI agents, multi-agent workflows, RAG systems, LLM applications, and AI-powered automation.

• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems, APIs, databases, and existing technology infrastructure.

• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle.

• Own projects from discovery and PoC through to production deployment and optimisation.

• Evaluate AI system performance and continuously improve reliability, accuracy, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• 2–8+ years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, solutions engineering, or a related technical role.

• Strong hands-on experience building software applications with Python, TypeScript, or similar languages.

• Practical experience with LLMs, Generative AI, AI Agents, RAG, tool/function calling, or agent orchestration frameworks.

• Experience taking AI prototypes into production environments.

• Strong understanding of APIs, cloud platforms, databases, and modern software engineering practices.

• Comfortable working directly with clients and translating business requirements into technical solutions.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments.

• Fluent English communication skills.
