As VPC Production Senior Specialist, you will oversee vehicle processing operations, including production planning, delivery schedules, process progress and cost management. You will scrutinise work content, supervise repair activities and support initiatives to reduce repair costs while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Your responsibilities will include managing completion inspections and certificates, conducting sampling tests, maintaining inspection records and ensuring compliance with vehicle safety standards. You will also oversee measurement equipment, standard operating procedures, repair processes and quality audits at the port.
The role includes diagnosing complex vehicle issues, preparing reports and guiding their resolution, as well as producing monthly reports covering vehicle quality, mileage, completion volumes and company vehicles. You will support regulatory audits, manage subcontractors and share information proactively with other departments. English communication will increasingly be used to support international collaboration and business improvement.
At least five years’ experience in the automotive industry.
A Japanese second-class or higher automobile mechanic qualification.
Practical experience and knowledge of completion inspections and certification processes.
Knowledge of vehicle safety standards, technical requirements, laws and regulations.
Understanding of production and process management methods.
Knowledge of quality improvement practices and repair process control.
Experience managing, supervising and negotiating with subcontractors or external providers.
Strong communication, coordination and negotiation skills when working with other departments and business partners.
Basic computer skills, including the preparation and maintenance of operational reports.
Basic conversational English, with the willingness to develop effective communication in an international business environment.
