The General Manager, Japan will hold full P&L responsibility for the professional business and lead its commercial, service, operational, and organizational performance. Reporting to the Vice President for APAC and MEA, the role will manage functions including sales, marketing, service, supply chain, customer support, finance, IT, and HR.
The primary mandate is to deliver profitable growth while strengthening the business model. Key priorities include expanding the entry-level and semi-professional product portfolio, developing new channels such as online and retail, winning strategic enterprise accounts, and increasing recurring revenue from service contracts and aftermarket offerings.
The General Manager will also transform service profitability and efficiency through improved processes, preventive maintenance, connected equipment, remote troubleshooting, and stronger customer retention. Across the organization, the role will improve demand planning, inventory discipline, working capital, and execution quality while developing middle-management capability.
Based in Tokyo, the General Manager will lead a multi-site organization and maintain strong relationships with customers, regional leadership, global stakeholders, and strategic partners.
