Our client is developing one of the largest new natural gas transmission projects currently underway in Texas — a greenfield pipeline spanning approximately 240 miles, 42 inches in diameter, designed to transport up to 2.5 Bcf/d of natural gas from the Permian Basin to the Katy/Houston market. This is a rare chance to join a major energy infrastructure project during its formative stages and help shape construction execution from the ground up.
Reporting to the Project Director, the Construction Manager will lead the safe execution of assigned construction spreads, acting as the owner's representative and managing EPC contractors through construction, commissioning, and project close-out.
Lead pipeline construction activities across assigned spreads
Manage EPC contractors and subcontractors
Ensure compliance with PHMSA regulations and HSE requirements
Monitor quality, schedule, and budget performance
Coordinate engineering, procurement, and operations
Oversee welding, coating, hydrotesting, and commissioning
Review contractor progress and invoices
Support environmental compliance and restoration
10+ years of pipeline construction experience
Experience with large-diameter natural gas transmission pipelines
Background managing EPC contractors, ideally as an owner's representative
Working knowledge of ASME B31.8, PHMSA regulations, hydrotesting, and commissioning
