As the company continues to expand its US commercial organization and prepare for multiple important product opportunities, it is seeking an experienced and highly strategic Brand Director to play a key leadership role in shaping the US commercial strategy and driving successful product launches and sustained portfolio growth.

We are seeking a high-performing Brand Director – United States to lead end-to-end brand strategy, launch excellence, and commercial growth for the company's US oncology and biosimilar portfolio.
The Brand Director will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive US brand strategies, leading launch planning and readiness, driving competitive positioning, and delivering integrated, customer-focused marketing initiatives that support successful product launches and long-term market growth.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in US pharmaceutical or biotech commercialization, with demonstrated success in oncology and/or biosimilars, strong strategic marketing capabilities, and the ability to translate market insights into differentiated commercial strategies.
This role will serve as a key cross-functional leader, partnering closely with Market Access, Sales, Medical Affairs, Commercial Operations, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, and Global teams to ensure aligned, compliant, and high-impact execution.
Own the end-to-end US brand strategy and annual brand planning process for assigned oncology and biosimilar assets.
Lead market assessment, segmentation, targeting, positioning, competitive intelligence, and customer insights to develop differentiated value propositions.
Develop commercial strategies across the product lifecycle, including pre-launch, launch, in-line growth, and lifecycle optimization.
Translate market dynamics, customer insights, and business analytics into clear strategic priorities and actionable brand plans.
Lead and develop Brand team members as applicable, establishing clear priorities, accountability, and operational excellence.
Manage brand budgets and provide input into sales forecasting and business planning.
Lead US commercialization strategy and launch readiness for biosimilars and specialty oncology products.
Develop and execute comprehensive launch plans, including positioning, messaging, customer engagement, promotional strategy, and channel planning.
Oversee development and execution of integrated marketing initiatives, including:
Launch campaigns and promotional initiatives
HCP marketing materials and sales tools
Payer and market access materials
Speaker programs and launch events
Digital and omnichannel campaigns
Websites and patient support materials
Partner with Sales and Commercial Operations to ensure field readiness and effective execution.
Establish launch milestones, KPIs, governance processes, and performance tracking to ensure timely and effective delivery.
Continuously optimize commercial programs based on market feedback, performance data, and evolving customer needs.
Serve as a strategic commercial leader across a highly matrixed organization.
Partner closely with Market Access to align brand strategy with payer, reimbursement, pricing, and access priorities.
Collaborate with Medical Affairs to ensure appropriate integration of scientific and clinical insights into commercial strategy.
Work closely with Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, Communications, Commercial Operations, and Alliance Management to ensure effective and compliant execution.
Support development of customer-facing value propositions and messaging aligned with the overall commercial and access strategy.
Drive cross-functional alignment around strategic priorities, launch milestones, KPIs, and business objectives.
Build strong relationships with Global teams and effectively translate global strategies into differentiated US commercial plans.
Drive achievement of sales, market share, and forecast objectives for assigned brands.
Monitor brand performance, competitive dynamics, market trends, customer behavior, and evolving treatment paradigms.
Identify risks and growth opportunities and proactively recommend strategic actions.
Use market research, business analytics, customer insights, and performance data to inform commercial decision-making.
Partner with Finance and Commercial Operations on business planning, forecasting, budget management, and performance reviews.
Ensure all marketing and promotional activities are executed in accordance with applicable FDA, PhRMA, company, and internal compliance requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline required; advanced degree preferred.
10–12+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology commercial experience, including significant US brand marketing experience.
Demonstrated track record of successful US product launches, ideally within oncology, biosimilars, specialty pharmaceuticals, or biologics.
Strong understanding of the US pharmaceutical commercial ecosystem, including HCP engagement, market access, payer dynamics, customer segmentation, and promotional strategy.
Proven experience leading cross-functional launch teams in a complex, matrixed organization.
Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to translate strategy into disciplined execution.
Demonstrated capabilities in market analysis, competitive intelligence, forecasting, business analytics, and project management.
Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth biotech environment with evolving priorities.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and urgency.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future sponsorship.
Direct experience in oncology, biosimilars, biologics, or specialty therapeutics.
Experience leading or supporting multiple US product launches.
Experience working across both large pharmaceutical organizations and growth-stage biotech environments.
Experience in a publicly traded biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.
Strong expertise in omnichannel marketing, digital commercialization, and customer engagement.
Experience developing commercial strategies for highly competitive therapeutic categories.
Experience working with global teams and adapting global strategies to the US market.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment while maintaining strong commercial discipline and compliance standards.
