Based in Tokyo, the IT Assistant Manager, Business Solution supports and improves the applications that enable retail and corporate operations in Japan. Reporting to the IT Business Solution Manager, you will provide Level 2 and Level 3 support across retail, point-of-sale (POS), inventory, ERP, and merchandising systems, helping maintain reliable services and resolve incidents with minimal business disruption.
You will work closely with business users, store teams, global IT colleagues, vendors, and service providers to investigate issues, coordinate enhancements, and translate business needs into effective technology solutions. The role also supports system integrations and data quality, and contributes to implementations, upgrades, testing, releases, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will help maintain sound application access, documentation, and change controls while keeping stakeholders informed of progress and risks. This is a permanent, hands-on role with a strong focus on coordination and collaboration.
