Project Manager

Base: Bac Ninh, Vietnam (Electrification Distribution Solutions) — Hybrid work model

2. Role Summary

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the execution of projects within the Electrification Distribution Solutions business in Bac Ninh, Vietnam.

In this role, you will ensure all project activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications, and targets, applying project scheduling techniques to proactively manage schedule risks and deliver on commitments to both the customer and the company.

3. Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

•      Lead and establish the project execution approach, overseeing planning, monitoring, and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals

•      Forecast schedules to determine if the project remains within defined tolerance ranges, and identify necessary change requests to drive closure

•      Plan and track all project activities, identifying scheduling risks and opportunities to deliver projects on time according to commitments

Financial & Risk Management

•      Monitor and control project progress, resource utilization, and project financials, including invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow

•      Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risk, ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued

•      Ensure the project consistently applies contract and claims management in accordance with company policies and contractual agreements

Procurement & Supply Chain Coordination

•      Coordinate with Supply Chain Management to successfully procure required services, materials, and equipment from external and internal suppliers

Stakeholder & Customer Management

•      Act as the key contact for the customer and escalation point for project issues

•      Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, communicating effectively across all parties

•      Support local Sales and Tendering functions through early involvement in tenders

•      Drive the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgment in accordance with the contract

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

•      Ensure the project follows and complies with company HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies

•      Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards, and contractual requirements

•      Contribute to continuous improvement and simplification initiatives, supporting the enhancement of guidelines, tools, and templates

4. Qualifications

Experience

•      Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field

•      Minimum 4 years of experience in project management or order execution

Industry Knowledge

•      Extensive knowledge of electrical design in Medium Voltage products, especially switchgear and secondary compact substations, is favorable

•      Familiarity with SAP and other project management software

Leadership & Business Skills

•      Attention to detail, self-starter, proactive, and eager to learn

•      Good interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

•      Good analytical and planning capabilities, with a strong result-oriented and team-working mindset

Language

•      Comfortable communicating in both Vietnamese and English
