As a PMS/POS Implementation Specialist, you will implement, configure, test, deploy, and support hospitality technology solutions for hotel clients. Your work will focus on Property Management Systems, including Oracle Hospitality OPERA, as well as restaurant management and point-of-sale solutions such as Oracle Simphony.
You will translate client requirements into effective system configurations, support system integrations, participate in testing and go-live activities, and troubleshoot functional or technical issues. The role also involves coordinating with hotel stakeholders, project managers, technical teams, vendors, and third-party providers.
Based onsite in Tokyo, you may support domestic and international projects, hotel openings, upgrades, migrations, and post-implementation operations. You will maintain accurate project and support documentation, manage assigned incidents within service expectations, protect system and customer information, and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Experience with hotel Property Management Systems, point-of-sale systems, or related hospitality technology.
Ability to configure system modules, users, security profiles, operational settings, interfaces, and integrations.
Experience with system testing, including integration testing, user acceptance testing, validation, and go-live readiness.
Strong troubleshooting and incident-management skills, with the ability to investigate issues and coordinate effective resolutions.
Understanding of hotel operations such as reservations, front desk, housekeeping, billing, restaurant operations, or room charging.
Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical or functional solutions.
Clear and professional communication with customers, hotel teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Strong documentation, organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
Willingness to work onsite in Tokyo and travel domestically or internationally when required.
