About Our Client
Our client is a leading developer of large-scale natural gas transmission infrastructure, currently building one of the largest greenfield pipeline projects in Texas, connecting Permian Basin production to Gulf Coast demand and LNG export markets.
The Opportunity
As a greenfield pipeline development, this is a unique opportunity to build a Control Room Management, SCADA and Measurement organization from the ground up ahead of first gas. The Director – Control Room & Measurement will establish the operational framework required for safe, compliant long-term operations.
What You'll Do
Develop the Control Room Management Program
Lead SCADA implementation and alarm management
Establish gas measurement and custody transfer standards
Develop operating procedures and emergency response plans
Lead operations readiness, commissioning and startup
Ensure PHMSA compliance
Build and lead the Gas Control and Measurement teams
What You Bring
15+ years of pipeline operations experience
Senior leadership experience in natural gas transmission
Control Room Management, SCADA and Measurement expertise
Knowledge of 49 CFR 192.631, PHMSA, leak detection, operator qualification and commissioning
