A permanent opportunity is available with an organisation based in Tokyo, Japan. The business is seeking a Total Rewards Lead to shape and deliver its approach to compensation and benefits, working across teams to support its people and organisational priorities.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a significant people function and contribute to decisions that affect employees across the organisation. You will work with stakeholders to develop thoughtful, consistent reward practices and help ensure they remain aligned with business needs. As Total Rewards Lead, you will guide the organisation’s total rewards approach, covering areas such as compensation and benefits. You will develop and review reward programmes, using data and market insight to inform recommendations and support fair, consistent decision-making.
The role involves partnering with people leaders and other stakeholders to understand business needs, communicate reward policies and support their effective implementation. You will also oversee the ongoing operation of reward processes, identify opportunities to improve them and contribute to relevant planning and governance. Based in Tokyo, this permanent position combines strategic input with hands-on delivery and calls for sound judgement, discretion and the ability to influence across the organisation.
