The Logistics Coordinator will serve as a control tower for Japan logistics operations, supporting internal systems, coordinating between sales and operations teams, and preparing daily delivery reports. This role is central to ensuring shipments are executed accurately and customers receive the level of service they expect.
Key responsibilities include overseeing inbound ASN receipts for VIP accounts, validating documents before system updates, creating orders, and dispatching them to the correct parties for execution. The role also supports 4PL operations by coordinating daily shipments, communicating with partner warehouses, managing value-added service projects, improving order management processes, and resolving delivery issues through root cause analysis. In addition, the coordinator will support 3PL forwarding operations, including air and ocean import/export, customer quoting, and communication with external logistics partners.
Bachelor’s degree
1+ year of relevant experience; 3+ years preferred
Experience in operations, transportation, distribution, forwarding, or customs
Business-level Japanese and English
Vendor management experience in a fast-paced environment
Strong organization, detail orientation, and execution focus
Monthly incentive plan based on individual performance
