Role overview:
The Senior Automation Test Engineer will design and implement automated test frameworks covering unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. The role works closely with Backend and Frontend engineers to improve testability and integrate automated validation into CI/CD pipelines.
Key responsibilities:
Test Frameworks Design and implement robust automated test frameworks covering unit, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
API & Data Testing Build and maintain automated test suites for REST and WebSockets APIs, real-time data pipelines, and complex frontend workflows.
CI/CD Integration Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and reliable deployment cycles.
Testability Collaborate with Backend and Frontend engineers to define and implement testability requirements during the design phase.
Performance Testing Contribute to performance, stress, and conformance testing to validate platform readiness for production workloads.
Hands-on experience building automated test frameworks using Python, TypeScript, or Rust.
Strong experience with API testing, particularly REST and WebSockets in real-time data environments.
Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
Professional experience working in Linux-based development environments, including CLI, shell scripting, and basic systems knowledge.
Strong English communication skills, written and verbal, for documenting test strategies and collaborating with global teams.
