The Head of Software Engineering / Engineering Lead will oversee end-to-end software delivery and lead the engineering digital transformation roadmap. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with responsibility for scaling offshore development teams, modernizing enterprise architecture, and supporting the delivery of financial products.
You will establish delivery governance, code quality standards, automated testing practices, and performance KPIs, while fostering collaboration and accountability across distributed teams. You will champion cloud-native architecture, CI/CD automation, and containerization, and provide technical direction for scalable backend systems built with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures. As the escalation point for critical production incidents, you will lead incident management and root cause analysis and advance high availability and disaster recovery planning within regulated environments.
