As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, refining, and supporting mechanical designs used in a manufacturing environment. You will work closely with engineering, production, quality, and other stakeholders to ensure that designs meet performance, reliability, manufacturability, and safety requirements.
Your responsibilities will include creating and updating mechanical drawings and specifications, evaluating design concepts, supporting prototyping and testing, investigating technical issues, and implementing design improvements. You will also contribute to root-cause analysis, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline.
Professional experience in mechanical design, product development, equipment design, or manufacturing engineering.
Ability to create, interpret, and maintain detailed mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Practical understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
Experience using computer-aided design tools for 2D and/or 3D mechanical design.
Ability to evaluate designs for performance, reliability, manufacturability, quality, and safety.
Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate technical issues and identify effective corrective actions.
Ability to collaborate with production, quality, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders.
High level of attention to detail and a disciplined approach to documentation and design control.
Willingness to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment and support testing, prototyping, and production improvements.
Clear communication skills and the ability to manage multiple technical priorities effectively.
