What the job entails
As Recruitment Coordinator, you will support volume hiring activities and help ensure an efficient, consistent recruitment process. You will coordinate recruitment administration, monitor recruitment KPIs and maintain a high level of attention to detail when following agreed processes.
The role involves working closely with store management teams and HR colleagues, providing constructive feedback and supporting the development of others. You may also contribute to coaching and training for store management teams. In addition, you will collaborate with HR colleagues on labour-market insights, salary and benefits information, and relevant legal requirements.
Based in Tokyo, this permanent part-time position involves 20 hours per week in a hybrid working environment. Success will require strong organisation, clear communication and the ability to prioritise effectively while working with a range of stakeholders.
Key requirements
- Experience in volume hiring and working with recruitment KPIs.
- Working proficiency in both English and Japanese, verbally and in writing.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload efficiently.
- A results-oriented approach combined with careful attention to administrative detail.
- Commitment to following recruitment processes and maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to support and develop others through constructive feedback.
- Experience coaching or training store management teams is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt your approach to different stakeholders.
- Experience collaborating with HR colleagues on labour-market insights, salary and benefits information, and legal requirements.
- A self-starting, positive and practical attitude, with a willingness to find solutions.
- Comfort working with uncertainty or limited information.
- Legal right to work in Japan.
