This Tokyo-based role sits within the Product Management function and supports investment management and client-facing product activities across fixed income and equity strategies. The position is responsible for maintaining pitch books, preparing and coordinating responses to RFPs and DDQs, and supporting questionnaires and materials requested by institutional investors, pension clients, distributors, and consultants in both Japanese and English.
You will work closely with investment teams, client reporting, compliance, sales, senior stakeholders, and overseas offices to ensure timely, accurate, and well-coordinated responses to client requests. The role also includes maintaining key data such as performance, AUM, and staffing metrics, using tools such as Qvidian, Aladdin, Bloomberg, and internal systems. Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines are essential.
Experience at an asset management firm with pitch books, RFPs/DDQs, and data management
Native-level Japanese and business-level English, especially strong writing
Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills
Preferred: knowledge of fixed income, ESG, private assets, and tools such as Aladdin, eVestment, or FactSet
