This role owns the day-to-day store management and operational execution for a specific brand’s official stores across Amazon, Rakuten, and @cosme Shopping. You will help shape and execute sales and merchandising strategies, translate those plans into effective campaigns and promotional moments, and ensure the stores are running smoothly and efficiently.
You will also be responsible for site management, including UI/UX improvement and ongoing maintenance, inventory control, issue and complaint handling, reporting, and project support. A key part of the role is coordinating closely with internal partners such as Brand, Supply Chain, IT, Consumer Center, Finance, and the broader EC team, as well as managing communication and negotiations with retailer, platform, and vendor contacts. You will also support knowledge transfer to other team members and contribute to a range of cross-functional initiatives.
Native-level Japanese, with JLPT N1 or above
Experience operating an Amazon or Rakuten official store, or equivalent knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel [suggestion: VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables]
Strong communication skills in English [suggestion]
Chinese or Korean language skills are a plus [suggestion]
Experience in beauty, apparel, or another related consumer industry [suggestion]
Management consulting experience at a Big 4 firm or similar [suggestion]
