As Human Resources Manager, you will provide high-quality support to employees, managers, and teams across compensation & benefits, employee relations, and HR operations. Reporting to the Japan Human Resources Director, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate HR data, sound labor practices, and efficient business processes that support the Japan organization.
Your responsibilities will include managing annual performance review and merit increase processes, salary benchmarking, monthly FTE and cost closure, personnel cost analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and KPI reporting. You will also partner closely with Retail, WW HR, Finance, and Legal on employee relations matters, policy updates, and separation cases to ensure full compliance. In addition, you will help improve HR workflows through digital tools and support general affairs, retail operations, and health and safety-related coordination.
Bachelor’s degree or above; 5+ years of HR experience [suggestion]
Strong employee relations and local labor law knowledge
Fluent Japanese and English, written and spoken
Experience in retail or luxury industry preferred
