To support, maintain, and enhance the Bank's server and infrastructure platforms, ensuring high availability, security, performance, and resilience across data centre, cloud, and branch environments.
Role Overview
• Provide day-to-day operational support for Windows and Linux server infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related infrastructure services.
• Administer Microsoft Exchange, WSUS, and server patch management processes.
• Support and maintain data centre infrastructure, including servers, virtualisation platforms, storage, and backup solutions.
• Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root cause analysis.
• Execute infrastructure changes, upgrades, patching, and technology refresh activities.
• Support hybrid infrastructure connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.
• Work closely with IT Security on vulnerability remediation, security hardening, and compliance initiatives.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, technical procedures, and operational standards.
• Participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call support as required.
Ideal Profile
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Microsoft certifications are preferred.
• Certifications in Linux, Cloud, Cybersecurity, or DevOps technologies would be an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in system administration and infrastructure support.
• Manage and maintain Microsoft Windows Server platforms, including Active Directory, GPO, Exchange, WSUS, and related infrastructure services.
• Experience in Linux server administration (e.g. Red Hat) in production environments.
• Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or other enterprise virtualisation platforms, storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience supporting enterprise data centre environments.
• Experience in banking, financial services, or other regulated industries is needed.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Proficient in Python and/or Shell scripting for automation.
• Familiar with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, and infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and infrastructure automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform) is an advantage.
