COMMERCIAL & CONTRACTS MANAGER

Key Responsibilities
Take responsibility for overall commercial and contract management of projects, including:
Contract management
Cost control
Variations
Claims management
Subcontractor procurement
Final Accounts
Leading commercial and contractual negotiations with clients, main contractors, and consultants
Requirements
10+ years of commercial / contracts management experience within the construction industry or specialist contracting sector
At least 5 years of UAE / GCC experience
Strong knowledge of the FIDIC contract suite, including:
Red Book
Yellow Book
Silver Book
Good understanding of UAE contractual and construction practices
Strong experience in:
Variations
Extension of Time (EOT) claims
Cost claims
Familiarity with measurement standards such as CESMM4 / NRM
Proficiency in QS / cost management software such as:
CostX
Candy
Or equivalent software
Fluent in English
MRICS / RICS / CIArb or other relevant professional certification is preferred
