Key Responsibilities

Take responsibility for overall commercial and contract management of projects, including:

• Contract management

• Cost control

• Variations

• Claims management

• Subcontractor procurement

• Final Accounts

• Leading commercial and contractual negotiations with clients, main contractors, and consultants

Requirements

• 10+ years of commercial / contracts management experience within the construction industry or specialist contracting sector

• At least 5 years of UAE / GCC experience

• Strong knowledge of the FIDIC contract suite, including:

  • Red Book

  • Yellow Book

  • Silver Book

• Good understanding of UAE contractual and construction practices

• Strong experience in:

  • Variations

  • Extension of Time (EOT) claims

  • Cost claims

• Familiarity with measurement standards such as CESMM4 / NRM

• Proficiency in QS / cost management software such as:

  • CostX

  • Candy

  • Or equivalent software

• Fluent in English

• MRICS / RICS / CIArb or other relevant professional certification is preferred
